A great news for all those who have not activated their windows yet, MICROSOFT is giving away Windows 8 Pro With Media Center upgrade genuine license key for free all you have to do is visit the Promo Page of MICROSOFT and enter your email id. They will sent your license key within 72 hours.
 
NOTE :

1. This offer from MICROSOFT is only valid until January 31,2013.
2. The key is for single usage only.
3. You must get it activated before January 31,2013.

Instructions :

1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search. (If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, and then click Search.)
2. Enter Add features in the search box, and then tap or click Settings.
3. Tap or click Add features to Windows 8 and then tap or click I already have a product key.
4. Enter your product key and click Next. 
5. Read the license terms, select the check box to accept the license terms, and then click Add features. 

If you were running Windows 8 Pro, your PC will be upgraded and restart automatically and Windows Media Center will be available for use.

You can then activate your copy Windows 8 Pro With Media Center by internet connection or by phone.

This is permanant activation unlike KMS Activation which was only valid for 6 Months and the copy of windows will be activated by MICROSOFT itself.

Backup Your Activation :  

Once you are activated make a backup of your activation because if you reinstall your windows you can't use the key anymore to upgrade to Pro With Media Center as its single usage key.

You can make backup of your activation using Advanced Token Manager

Problem :
Without upgrading to Pro With Media Center, you can't restore activation backup you've created in Pro With Media Center

Solution :
Install Windows 8 Pro with Media Center(x86/x64) and then Restore the Activation backup made by you earlier by Advanced Tokens Manager. 

NOTE : Re Install 32-bit(x86) if you had 32-bit Windows 8 Pro installed earlier and 64-bit(x64) if you had 64-bit Windows 8 Pro installed earlier. OS architecture should be kept same.
